Enjoy camping on Tusquittee Creek! Campers can experience mountains, creek, wildlife and more. Campers are welcomed to explore the entire area and check out the themed tiny homes. Meet the owner and see the next phases for the property. Play chess, lay on hammocks, grill out, check out the fairy garden and relax! We also have a petting zoo, so come meet the animals! Meet our 2 playful pups. Nestled 10 miles outside Hayesville, our 11-acre Magical Mountain Resorts campground backs into the Tusquitee Ranger District of the Nantahala National Forest. Covering many of the mountains and valleys of southwestern North Carolina, the Nantahala National Forest is the largest in the state, encompassing 531,148 acres with elevations ranging from 5,800 feet at Lone Bald in Jackson County to 1,200 feet in Cherokee County along the Hiwassee River. In addition to stunning views and hiking. These awe-inspiring landscapes provide the perfect backdrop for families and individuals looking to escape from the daily grind by relaxing in nature or enjoying recreational activities. Visitors will leave the hustle and bustle of reality behind as they cross a wooden bridge and step onto grounds reminiscent of some of the world’s most well-loved fairytales and stories. Guests will be charmed by the hanging teapots and toadstools heralding the entrance. Relax in your slip nestled next to a certified trout stream. Guests can relax at a picnic table overlooking the water or enjoy relaxing in a hand woven hammock or around the firepits located on-site. The glow in the dark teapots hanging from the trees greet guests and glowing flowers add a magical touch as night starts to fall. We also have a newly remodeled themed and heated bathhouse with a boys and girls side-toilet, shower and sink. We’d love to have you be our guest at Magical Mountain Resorts, The Enchanted Forest
