  • We are happy to share out resort with your furry companions in our pet friendly cabins. However, we do ask you to follow our guidelines to ensure the safety of your pet and the experience of our other cottage guests.

    • Bring a blanket for your dogs when sitting on the furniture.

    • The white towels in the bathroom are for humans only, there is a blue towel for dogs and muddy feet.

    • Guest’s dog must have required shots, licenses and tags, including name tags.

    • Pets must be with owners at all times and with a leash.

    • Aggressive behaviour is not tolerated - disruptive barking, jumping on other guests, etc.

    • Please clean up any bathroom needs your pet leaves behind.

    • Do not leave your dog at the cabin unattended.

    • Guests are required to pay for any damage their dog causes.

  • Firewood can be purchased and waiting for you upon request for $10 bundle. The cottage includes free parking for up to 2 vehicles. Security cameras monitor the property and Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. There is an on-site dumpster for trash disposal.

    Please be advised that this rental is pet friendly. Dogs must be picked up after and no dogs are allowed on the furniture.

    Magical Mountain Resorts will also provide special occasion set up pre-arrival for those celebrating a birthday, anniversary, or romantic getaway.

REGULATIONS

POLICIES & SAFETY

• Check-in time is at 3 pm and check-out time is at 11 am. We do not currently offer early check-in times.
• We do not offer daily cleaning services and only clean the unit once guests have checked out.

SAFETY & AWARENESS

• We do have occasional wildlife sightings, including bears. Please review safety protocols by the National Park Service here and never leave food outside during your stay.
• Please review fire safety protocols by Nantahala Forest here

RULES AND REGULATIONS

• Each cottage has a designated maximum number of guests allowed and will fit that number comfortably.
• Overnight guests will be allowed up to the maximum capacity of each cottage. Registered guests must be present in order for their guests to use the facilities and will at all times be responsible for their actions.
• Lost keys will incur a replacement fee
• Please remove your shoes when you’re inside the cabins
• There are cameras and noise monitors on the exterior of most of the cabins and campers and placed throughout the grounds, on the exterior. This is to insure the safety and security of our guests
• The cabins are treated by a pest control company, even then, we can not prevent bugs, insects, flying creatures, etc from entering inside. Doors and windows left open, food & sugary drinks left outside, etc attract them even more. We are in a rural location and they are part of nature out here. There will be no refunds of any funds due to bugs/insects/wildlife/etc seen inside or outside
• Do not place trash in fire rings
• Children should be supervised by an adult at all times
• Garbage and trash should be placed in bags and placed in dumpster
• Please scrape off bbq cooktop when finished with it.
• Each cottage will be cleaned after each guest. Unreasonable uncleanliness, messes, stains, or destruction of property will be subject to fines.
• Do not use supplied bedding or towels outside under any circumstances.
• Alcohol may only be consumed on individual camping sites. No one may be on the resort while intoxicated. Under no circumstances are minors allowed to consume alcohol on the property.
• We do not allow smoking in any of our cabins or properties but smoking is allowed on the grounds.
• Children must be supervised by their parent or guardian at all times.
• Any guest who willingly or negligently defaces, injures, destroys or removes resort property, or equipment, shall be held liable for the full replacement cost.
• Absolutely no firearms are permitted on the resort.
• Garbage is to be in proper garbage bins on individual lots or placed in the designated garbage receptacle.
• Absolutely no littering will be tolerated.
• No unreasonable noise is permitted. Quiet time is enforced at 10 pm.
• No large gatherings or parties without authorization and the proper insurance
• Parking is only allowed in designated parking spots.
• The gathering or cutting off live trees or other vegetation including flowers within the resort is prohibited.
